Ltd; while carrying out its day-to-day operations of providing mechanical installation, electrical installation, telecommunications, Marking and coding, electrical and safety audit, maintenance and service level agreement, recognizes and accepts its responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all its employees, contractors, customers and visitors; who use its premises in order to prevent injury and ill health, in compliance to ISO 45001:2018 and its associated regulations.
To ensure that a positive health and safety culture is actively promoted, we shall provide necessary information, training, instruction and supervision needed for compliance.
It is our policy to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of all employees and any other persons who may be directly affected by the activities of our Company.
BOT Engineering Co. Ltd will, so far as is reasonably practicable:
- Provide accident free environment to staff’s contractor, visitor within our facility
- Keep record of incidents and accidents in order to mitigate risk, reduce hazard or eliminate it
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation, regulations, codes of practice and other requirements associated with Nigeria operations;
- Arrange for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring and review of preventive and protective measures and continuous improvement of OH&S system
- Ensure that risk assessments are being carried out on an on-going basis with employees participating and consultation in the risk assessment process. On a regular basis, conduct strategic sessions with the primary aim of identifying hazards and the setting of prioritized objectives for elimination and reduction of risk;
- Protect personnel from any health hazard associated with work
- Maintain compliance to all OHS legal requirement
- Involve employees in Health and safety decisions through consultation and co-operation.
- Ensure this policy is understood and implemented throughout the organization
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Develop and implement appropriate occupational health and safety procedures, and safe working practices.
- Ensure that employees receive appropriate training and are competent to carry out their designated responsibilities.
